The process is different

As far as the price of products is concerned, aluminum alloy handles have advantages,Zinc alloy is more than half heavier than aluminum alloy. And the later processing fee is cheaper than zinc alloy. as we known, Electroplating is more expensive than oxidation. Aluminum alloy plasticity is good, and the strength is higher than zinc alloy, it is suitable for carrying heavy weight in medium material structure. Aluminum alloys and zinc alloys have good corrosion resistance .
 

Performance of different

zinc alloy has higher hardness and tensile strength than aluminum alloy, but there is no boundary. Aluminum alloy has low density, high hardness and good tensile strength, but Zinc alloy is heavier.
  

Price is different

Aluminum alloy has better smooth finish. Zinc alloys of the same weight are cheaper than aluminium alloys. In fact, zinc alloys are denser, the prices of zinc alloys and aluminium alloys of the same volume are not much different. Compared with the superior 304 stainless steel and copper, the cost performance is higher and more suitable for ordinary families. Aluminum alloy is not easy to be oxidized, but its hardness is not as good as zinc alloy. Zinc alloy is easy to oxidize and deteriorate in the air for a long time. It will become very brittle and easy to break after a long time.
Aluminum alloy has low density, but high strength, it close to or greater than the quantity of good steel, good plasticity, and can be processed into various profiles, it has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and widely used in industry, the sales is second only to steel. If the structure and die casting process permit, of course, aluminum alloy is more cost-effective.
The proportion of zinc alloy is about 2.5 times that of aluminum alloy, and the price is comparable, so the material cost of zinc alloy than aluminum alloy is two or three times more expensive. Nowadays, many enterprises choose aluminum alloy instead of zinc alloy in order to save cost, but some of them can not be replaced because zinc alloy has much better strength, hardness and formability than aluminum alloy.
If you want to polish and electroplate the surface of your product and require a high appearance quality, then you will use zinc alloy. Aluminum alloy handles are difficult to achieve high surface quality requirements, because aluminum alloy die-casting  performance is poor, it’s easy to produce a lot of pores in the products surface,the surface quality is very poor after electroplated.
